Portugal’s ‘Route 66’, the EN2, which stretches between Chaves in the north and Faro in the south, now has its own website.
The site was launched to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the along 740km-long road’s construction.
Available in five languages, it was created by an association of municipalities through which the road passes, to promote sights and attractions along the EN2, which the association hopes will become the European equivalent of the US’s famous Route 66. SOURCE – the portugal news
